Support Sustain Film Festival

We have launched our crowdfunding campaign to bring Sustain Film Festival to life in Guildford.

Your support — whether it’s a fiver, a like on our campaign page, or a follow on social media, makes a real difference in helping us celebrate powerful stories that spark change and build a more sustainable future.

Sustain is a film, animation, performing arts and interactive media festival based in Guildford. The theme of the festival has environmental overtones, but we welcome submissions from artists, creators, producers and makers from across the creative and cultural landscapes, with an open invitation to interpret the theme as they see fit. We seek stories and artworks far and wide – local, regional, national and global. We want to bring people together to promote the future wellbeing of the planet, as well as the current cultural wellbeing of its inhabitants. We want to deliver experiences that explore the very nature of our species, that probe into our psyches, ask big questions of who we are, and who we might become.

Vision

Sustain is supported and coproduced by the Institute for Sustainability at the University of Surrey. The festival is part of the Institute’s ongoing mission to drive the transition to a sustainable world of longterm wellbeing, recognising the crucial role of arts and culture to win over hearts and minds and to secure a sustainable future for everyone.
